Iriy frequencies begins 2026 with a pivotal presentation of Halcyon Veil by Second Sort on January 8th. Halcyon Veil is one of the most significant influences on Iriy Records, and its only fitting that one of our most original artists will present it.

Halcyon Veil was started in 2015 by Eric Burton aka Rabit and Lane Stewart with the release of Ascension by Angel-Ho. However, it was the release of a mixtape by Rabit and Chino Amobi that put the label on the map of the global deconstructed club scene. After that the label spurred as a harbor of eclectic experimental club releases.

On one side, Halcyon Veil produced records with disorienting noise textures and power electronics by Prison Religion, Abyss X, NAKED, Lol K while simultaneously releasing subversive melodic music by J.S.Aurelius, IVVO and son on. Special mention should go to the release of Fantasii by MHYSA, an absolutely original blend of gospel RnB and ambient bass.
