Kvitka returned with a personal deep dive into Exit Records — the influential UK label founded by dBridge in 2003 to push drum’n’bass beyond its borders. Since then, Exit has become a testing ground for hybrid and experimental club sounds that shaped the past two decades.
From dubstep-inflected releases by EVA808 and Itoa to hard drum and broken beat explorations, Exit Records stands as one of the longest-running and most respected imprints in the UK bass underground. The mix unfolded as a sonic archive of tension, weight, and evolution.
Every form of art has its own time and place to be truly appreciated — and music is no exception. Each genre, with its unique mood and color, waits for the right moment to shine.
This set offers a journey through cinematic somatic techno, infused with obscure electronics and broken rhythms. The result is a tangled storyline, unfolding as a mystical tale for the listener.

Sam Shyshka — co-founder of the Observers party series and Kyiv-based DJ — explores percussive, dub, and acid-driven sounds across genres and tempos.
In this episode, his mix unfolds as three interwoven stories: a natural awakening that shifts into dreamlike melancholy, then flows into a dynamic yet meditative state. Built around percussion and dub melodies, the selection blends IDM, leftfield bass, downtempo, ambient, and deep techno — revealing that strong energy can live in slower rhythms, and that often less is more.

This time, Bakunn dives into the catalogue of Ilian Tape - the iconic label founded in 2007 by Dario Zenker in Munich. This will be a unique edition of the show: the first time we explore a label that has evolved from deep techno roots into something far more hybrid and open-ended.
Early Ilian Tape releases were shaped by the dusty swing of boom-bap hip hop and dubstep influences - with A Tribe Called Quest and Digital Mystikz as key inspirations. Initially known for its minimal and loopy techno with groove, the label gradually shifted as a new wave of post-club producers joined the roster - including Skee Mask, Laksa, Etch, and dubstep heavyweight Commodo. Today, Ilian Tape stands as one of the most respected platforms bridging techno, bass, and experimental club music.
