The mix features quirky leftfield grooves and broken rhythms at 100 BPM — danceable yet unexpected. It’s built around both new discoveries and tracks found on a 15-year-old hard drive, shaping a nostalgic, yet contemporary and cohesive musical narrative.
This Thursday l.Krueger will play a choice selection of tracks from the label Pressure Dome. Pressure Dome is a label-seed of the New Bristol Sound that blends post-dubstep elements with juke and breaks. The label neatly fits under the umbrella genre of “hard drum” next to labels like Levity Sound and Ad 93, but adds a more “techno” feel to the rhythmical canvass.
Pressure Dome was started by Jen Hartley aka Yushh as a university project in 2019. Since then the label has accumulated a significant following with a large portfolio of post-dubstep stars like ophelia, Beatrice M. And Syz.
