Purple Tape Pedigree is a New York–based art collective and label founded in 2009 by Note and King Vision Ultra. It began as a blog dedicated to progressive New York hip-hop, but by 2012 the platform had evolved into a fully fledged record label.

The release of records such as Celestia Trax — Ride or Die EP marked a new phase for PTP: from that point on, the label became a notable hub for industrial, noise, and experimental hip-hop within the North American scene.

Over the years, the label has released work by Gang Fatale, Yatta, Saint Abdullah, Dis Fig, Via App, 9T Antiope, Dreamcrusher, and Fatboi Shariff.

Back on air after 7 years, Rommedahl returns with a vinyl selection — moving between deep tech textures and broken rhythms in a smooth, introspective ride.
